It's been a busy day in the consulting business. I've been on the road and today's podcast is a little late.

Today US electronics retailer, Best Buy, started carying Mac mini's. My local store had one on display and one in stock.

The US Congress is looking at Digital Rights Management, and is paying attention to Apple Computer's 75% market share of this growing market.

Apple was ranked #442 on the Forbes list of top 2000 companies.

MacOS X internals expert and smart kid, Amit Singh has issued a challenge to all the other MacOS X experts across the planet. Amit has developed an "application:" called "panpipes", which he guarantees will crash a 10.3 kernal. Be the first to analyze how panpipe works and come up with a fix. Amit is offering 5 minutes of fame and a free copy of his next book to the first person or team that cracks the program.

Tonight we end the podcast with a lovely tune from Miami Florida composer Lana Romanoff. The tune is Mon Cheri Stefan Sousa Mix and is dedicated to our friend Stef who earned 3 hips and one big hurrah today.

Google has added satellite imagery to it's map web site. While the Google terms of service don't allow us to include the image in this blog, entering "1 Infinite Loop, Cupertino, CA" in the search box provides a street map focused on the Apple corporate HQ. By clicking on the "Satellite" link and turing the resolution all the way up, you can see a very clear photo of the Apple campus from the sky.

Slashdot is reporting that the machines in the Apple Booth at this weeks FOSE convention are running MacOS 10.4, Tiger.

The Apple Design Awards are open. You have to be a member of the Apple Developers Connection and can only nominate yourself.

Today's tune is Touch the Sun from Ray Bkhar, a singer/songwriter from Moscow in the Russian Republic.
