Today Dave answers a listener's question requesting thoughts on transforming his home into a new media hub. Dave plugs iTunes and the Airport Express, but reminds listeners that a little wiring goes a long way.

Apple is accepting preorders for the 7.1 update to Logic Pro and Logic Express. The updates are scheduled to be shipped in about two weeks, around the time of the National Association of Broadcasters annual convention in Las Vegas.

German software developer, ERS, has announced ShowMacster, an extension to iChat that allows users to incorporate photos, movies and screen captures into iChat video conferences.

Today's Garageband.com tune comes from the land of Oz. No, the Romaniacs do not come from Eastern Europe, but instead hail from New South Wales in Australa. And no, the song has nothing to do with Australia, but instead is a lovely latin flavored instrumental.
