Apple has scheduled a media event for Sept. 7th in San Francisco. Note to Apple PR - My invitation must have gotten lost in the mail.

Blink and you missed it. On Tuesday, a new Mac mini promo appeared on the Apple US web site. The promo offered a 30 day trial period. Under the terms of the promotion, buyers could return the mini within 30 days. The promotion disappeared from the web site the following day.
