New iBooks, macMinis.

A very happy Apple K12 salesperson has closed a deal for 30,000 iBooks in Broward Country, Florida.

Photoshop World will include Adobe Certified Expert testing at their conference in Boston, September 7th through the 9th.

RMG166 - Mommy, what's a "newspaper"?

It's hot in Florida.

OK, it was 500,000,000 songs, not 500,000. I should have paid more attention in math class.

Microsoft is attempting to patent emoticons.

The European Union raided the offices of Intel Madrid Spain, Milan Italy, Munich Germany and Swindon in the UK.

Apple had better news in Europe last week when it was announced that sales in the Apple EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa) had grown 48% in the 2nd quarter.

Apple's market share continues to grow in the enterprise space.

In the retail world, The ifoapplestore web site is reporting that Apple Retail VP and COO, Bridget Ryan Berman has resigned.

It's official, the new, long delayed update to Microsoft Windows is called Vista.

In the "People in the News" category, Mike Matas, co-founder of Delicious Monster is leaving that company to take a position at Apple Computer.

In honor of Mike, and his move from the Emerald City to the Santa Clara valley, I'm ending the podcast with a great tune, Farewell, from a Band Called Delicious.
