The Gizmodo web site is running a story on a new mobile Apple store which launched recently in Japan. According to Gizmodo, the site provides cell phone users with photographs of and specifications for iPods and Mac mini's. Orders for products can be placed directly from the phone.
Google has added satellite imagery to it's map web site. While the Google terms of service don't allow us to include the image in this blog, entering "1 Infinite Loop, Cupertino, CA" in the search box provides a street map focused on the Apple corporate HQ. By clicking on the "Satellite" link and turing the resolution all the way up, you can see a very clear photo of the Apple campus from the sky.
Slashdot is reporting that the machines in the Apple Booth at this weeks FOSE convention are running MacOS 10.4, Tiger.
The Apple Design Awards are open. You have to be a member of the Apple Developers Connection and can only nominate yourself.
Today's tune is Touch the Sun from Ray Bkhar, a singer/songwriter from Moscow in the Russian Republic.
