The Tiger roared again today. Apple Computer announced that they will ship Mac OS X 10.4, named "Tiger" on April the 29th; just a couple of weeks away. There will be a special event in the Apple retail stores that evening starting at 6PM.

Amazon.com is offering a $35 rebate on Tiger to people who pre-order.

Apple has announced a $30 rebate program for .Mac subscriptions in the US.

The dates for the Apple Expo - Paris have been announced.

The local press in the Atlanta Georgia area is talking about a proposed deal betwen Apple Computer and the Cobb County School Board, that if successful, will provide iBooks to all the teachers, high school and middle school students in the district.

Today's tech topic has to do with permission repairs. I give a lame eplination of what permissions are. For a better explination, check out this Apple Tech Note.
