If you're anywhere near London, in the UK on April the 19th, stop by the Regent Street Apple Store where the Stereophonics will present some of their music. Space is limited so come early. Actually, there are three events on April 19th in three different contries that would be worth attending. Our iCal page has the details on many upcoming Apple focused events. If you'd like us to include your event on our calendar, drop us a line.
A listener wrote us advising that we might be a little too proactive in our endorsement of Mac OS X 10.4, Tiger. He pointed out that some users may experience problems with some applications when a new OS version is released. He's right. Some people do have problems when a new OS is released; especially people running old applications. Most serious Mac OS software developers are members of the Apple Developer Connection and have had pre-release versions of Tiger for many months now. Some shareware/freeware applications may have problems, but again, it's mostly going to be the old stuff that hasn't been updated lately.
Today we start a series on troubleshooting Mac OS computers. My favorite author of MacOS troubleshooting books is Ted Landau. I recommend his books, especially Mac OS X Help Line
Tonight's podcast ends with a tune from Benjy Rivas and the BBR Band. The tune is "I'd Rather Make It".
