RMG156 - Migrating from OS 9

It's HOT in Florida!

Thanks to Austin Michael Internet Solutions for hosting our feeds the last two months. We've outgrown the bandwidth available there and are moving to a provider who specializes in podcast hosting. Listeners should notice no difference.

Thanks to a listener who pointed out some problems in our audio. We've been working on it and hope that this episode is a little better.

Billed as "WWDC for the rest of us", the ADHOC conference is taking place in Michigan next month.

Steve Jobs delivered the commencement address at Stanford University. It was a great speech and today, Stanford posted a transcript.

Ad Age has a (registration required) story about the Sundance channel signing a deal with Apple to include Sundance podcasts on the new iTunes podcast list.

Today we cover transitioning from OS 9 (and earlier) systems to Tiger. Specifically we discuss Outlook Express and moving mail and address files to the new environment. Check out ABxfer, a very useful tool.

Marketwatch is covering the relationship between Apple and Wall Mart.
