RMG136-Securing Wirelss Networks

Thanks to our friends at Austin Michael Internet Solutions.

Today's podcast is all about wireless security. Answering a listeners question, I recommend open networks and locked up laptops. In listening to the podcast as I was creating the mp3's, I can't believe that I neglected to say anything about firewalls. I'll talk about it more in the next podcast, but for the record, please turn on your firewall.

Our listener feedback line is working now. If you want to leave us an audio message, please call our listener feedback line at +1(415) 367-3746.

Our GarageBand.com tune for today is by New Zealand song writer, dave keegan. Look for the link to his personal web site on his GarageBand page. It's worth a visit.

I live uphill from a beautiful swamp. I try and balance living in the tree shade with being a gardener. I play night frisbee, and ride strange looking bicycles.
